Oakridge worship team

Our Worship team is led by Rick Hartwig, and the goal of our team is to lead the congregation in a genuine and meaningful praise and worship experience.

Worship draws us to God and prepares us for the rest of the service. You can find blended worship on Sundays, tying together favorite hymns with modern songs and everything in between.

We are always looking for willing musicians and vocalists who love God to try out and see if they are a good fit for the team.

Drama Team

The purpose of the Drama Team is to:

1. Use occasional brief skits to introduce/reinforce the content of Sunday sermons.

2. Perform plays with a message for church dinners and other gatherings throughout the year.

3. Use drama as a means of outreach to the community by providing wholesome, family-oriented entertainment that promotes Christian values.

Sound Board

The sound team is available to help Sunday morning worship services and other live events go smoothly. It encompasses everything from setup, running the event, and teardown, and whenever applicable, transporting equipment. Good sound is important so that the Gospel message can be shared without distraction.

It’s a great area to serve if you are passionate about the Bible being taught but do not want to be in the spotlight.

You do not have to have experience, just a willingness to learn.

Video

We video record every Sunday service, from start to finish, so those who cannot attend in person are able to attend online.

Another thing we do is create video “reels” – short videos one minute or less – to post on social media sites. The goal of these reels is to find the crossroads between faith and culture and plant seeds in the hearts of viewers. Reels are seen by people of all different walks of life, including folks who may not normally watch or be interested in Christian materials.

The internet has become an incredibly useful tool to reach the lost, and we’d love some extra help in this area! No prior experience or equipment is needed, just a willing and teachable heart.

Presentation and Slides

The presentation and slides team help Sunday mornings and other live events run smoothly. They are available to run pre-recoded videos, slideshows, announcement slides, music slides, and more. In addition, they prepare for events by typing lyrics and entering videos into our presentation software.

If you like working behind the scenes, this is a great ministry for you.

No experience is necessary as we will teach you everything you need to know.
