Love God. Love People. Love Serving.

ministries at oakridge

We have a variety of ministries here at Oakridge. We invite you to become a part of them!

Don’t know where you fit? Take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment and speak to our Ministry Team Coordinator, Mike Streeter, to find where YOU can serve!

Worship Team

Our Worship Team is led by Rick Hartwig, and the heartbeat of our Team is to lead the congregation in a genuine and meaningful praise & worship experience. Worship draws us to God and prepares us for the rest of the service.

Children's Ministry

Our children's program provides opportunities for children to learn about God through Sunday school, special events, and summer camps. We also offer exceptional childcare for infants and toddlers during our Sunday morning services, so you know your child is in great hands while you worship God and learn from His Word.

Youth Group

Our youth are challenged through formal teaching, Bible study, fun activities, service projects, and fellowship, to live an authentic Christian life. Our youth group serves grades 6-12.

We offer a variety of ministry options for adults, including Bible studies, Sunday services, service projects, fun activities, and more!

Adult Ministry

Our senior's ministry meets frequently for lunches, picnics, special outings, and service projects.

Operation Christmas Child

Each year, Oakridge Community Church packs shoe boxes with items such as toys, health and beauty, school supplies, mittens, etc. and sends them out through Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child to children all over the world. For many children, this will be the only gift they receive for Christmas. For some children, it is the only gift they have EVER received. In each box is information about Jesus, and how each child can become a child of the King!

Oakridge is also the designated drop-off site for our community for this vital ministry.

The Oakridge Community Church Food Pantry opened in late 2010 to provide Spiritual and physical food for families in the community. We are blessed by donations from our members, local businesses, foundation grands, and food drive collections by local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

The Food Pantry is open the 2nd full week of the month on Tuesdays from 1-3pm, and Thursdays from 6-8pm.
